Brian S. Yarnall, Sr., 70, a resident of Elverson, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Reading Hospital. He was born in West Chester, Pa., on Sunday, July 11, 1954, and was the son of the late Morris and Eleanor (Millman) Yarnall. Brian was the devoted husband of Louise H. (Black) Yarnall, with whom he shared 47 years of loving marriage.
Together, Brian and Louise had a passion for restoring antiques to their original beauty. Their Fridays were filled with antique hunting and refinishing, which blossomed into the opening of Village Warehouse Antiques in Chadds Ford. Following that, he became the proud owner and operator of Yarnall’s Equipment in Honey Brook. He enjoyed truck restoration and building motorcycles, cherishing the memories created with his family through shared adventures. Much of their time was spent attending motorcycle and truck shows, riding four-wheelers, and traveling cross-country together. Starting in the early '80s, every summer weekend was dedicated to SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) track racing. Brian lived for the adrenaline of being behind the wheel and passed that passion onto his children and grandchildren.
Brian is survived by his four children: Randy and his wife, Amy McFarland, of Coatesville; Wendy and her husband, Mike Lauer, of Honey Brook; Brian Yarnall Jr. of Honey Brook; and Michael and his wife, Jessica Yarnall, of Narvon. He is also survived by two brothers, Paul Yarnall of New York and David Yarnall of West Chester, as well as a sister, Stacey Yarnall, also of West Chester. His legacy includes 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will honor Brian privately and appreciates your love and support during this difficult time. Memorial contributions in Brian’s memory may be made to The Parkinson Council, 12 W. Willow Grove Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19118 or at www.theparkinsoncouncil.org.
Arrangements are by The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. of Honey Brook, Pa.
