William F. Condon, Sr., 80 years of Honey Brook, passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the Reading Hospital, following an illness.
He was born in Cambridge, Mass. on May 6, 1945. William was the son of the late Francis and Marion (Fitzgerald) Condon. He was the husband of Susan A. (Bower) Condon, with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
William was a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. He took his Navy training into civilian life, working as a food services supervisor. William enjoyed woodworking, the sports teams of the Red Sox, Patriots, and the Phillies, and especially Tom Brady. He loved to be with his grandchildren and having a wonderful time with them.
William was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Condon.
He is survived in addition to his wife by a son, William F. “Billy” Condon, Jr. of Santa Maria, Ca., four daughters, Nancy Viggiano of Yaphank, NY, Kate Zanickrowsky of Burne, MA, Megan Condon of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Condon of Honey Brook, and a sister, Eileen Condon of Watertown, MA. There are also five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 2 PM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Rev. James “Jim” Hughes officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
