Robert G. “Bob” Lewis, 82 years of Honey Brook, died on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at his home, while under the loving care of his beloved family and hospice.
He was born in Parkesburg, Pa. on Saturday, August 22, 1942. Bob was the son of the late Earl and Anna Lewis. He was the husband of Kay (Barner) Lewis with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Bob was a truck driver for Venezia trucking retiring in 2005. He was a member of Glenmoore UM Church. His hobbies included fishing, an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, and a regular attender of Brandywine Active Aging Senior Center where he enjoyed playing RummiKub and bingo.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Tim (Mary) Lewis of Elverson, and Robert Jr., of Boyertown, a daughter, Lisa (Rick) Best of New Holland, a Stepson William Kehoe of Coatesville, a Stepdaughter Karen Kehoe-Zinn also of Coatesville and a sister Shirley Patton of Honey Brook. There are 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Robert was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 11 am at the Glenmoore UM Church, 1920 Creek Road, Glenmoore, Pa., 19343 with Pastor Dan Hepner officiating. A receiving of friends will be from 10-11. Interment will follow at the adjoining cemetery.
