James M. Brent

James M. Brent, 65 years of Honey Brook, Pa., passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his home, while under the loving care of his beloved family and hospice.

He was born in Philadelphia on Wednesday, July 13, 1960.  James was the son of June Ann (Wildeman) Brent of Honey Brook and the late Edward Wallace Brent.   He was the wife of Debra A. “Debby” (E’We) Brent.

James was an electrical engineer for Communications Test Design, Inc.  He was a member of the Mohnton Gun Club.  James enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, trains, painting, and winemaking. He was a proud US Army veteran.

James was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela L. MacClay and brother-in-law, Gary MacClay

Surviving is his son, CW4 Michael J. (Susan) Brent of Mohnton, a daughter, Angela (Allen) Dove of Honey Brook, a brother, Edward (Wendy) Brent of Mohnton and a sister, Y. Susan (Allen) Trago of Gap.   There are six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.    

An interment service, with US Army Military Honors will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12:30 PM from the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, 60 Indiantown Gap Road, Annville, Pa.  17003.  Family and Friends will meet at the driveway behind the cemetery administration building beginning at 12:15 PM. 

Immediately following military honors, a celebration of life will take place at Biddle Hall, Building 9-109, Fort Indiantown Gap. Government ID is required to get on base. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of James to the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at www.stjude.org

To Debbie and family. I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was always a good person to just talk and have fon with at work (CTDI). He was always even tempered,not to high or to low.
