Bruce E. Canfield, Jr., 45-years-old, of Pottstown, Pa., passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026.
He was born in Woodbury, NJ on April 13, 1980. Bruce was the son of Bruce E. Canfield, Sr. and Bonnie (James) Canfield of Narvon, Pa. He was the husband of Hillary (Dudley) Canfield of Coatesville, Pa.
Bruce is survived by two sons, Tyler and Conner Canfield, and two daughters, Lorelai and Elaina Canfield. Bruce loved his children, though he didn’t always know how to show it. He was waiting for Lorelai to reach legal age for hunting so he could share his passion for archery. He loved the outdoors: camping, fishing, hunting, and delighted in sharing that passion with his daughters.
Bruce was known as someone who would give the shirt off his back, loved coffee (“there’s water in coffee!”), and could always be found with sour gummies. He was a man who was proud to work with his hands, whether on a car or in the garden. He was a skilled carpenter. In his free time, he enjoyed going to Maryland and eating crabs by the bay.
He will be missed by many.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 2PM at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa, with Pastor Bill Wright officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
