Robin Cairns, 70, of Fleetwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Reading Hospital following an illness.
Born on October 11, 1955, in Honey Brook, Robin was the son of the late Frank D. and Audrey Elizabeth (McWilliams) Cairns.
Robin was a professional painter who took pride in his work and found joy in bringing color and new life to everything he touched. He loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or birdwatching. He also treasured the simple pleasures of life, especially playing Yahtzee with his dear friend JR. A devoted sports fan, Robin faithfully cheered on the Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders and the Philadelphia Phillies.
Creative by nature, Robin had a remarkable ability to restore and repurpose items, always seeing potential where others might not. Music was another great passion of his, and his collection of more than 100 CDs reflected his wide-ranging taste and love for sound and rhythm.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald Cairns, Frank Cairns, Charles Cairns, and Joseph Cairns, and by his sister, Mona Hohl.
Robin leaves behind a loving family who will miss him dearly: his son, Frank, and his wife, Sara Cairns, of Souderton; his daughters, Casey Cairns and her husband, Travis Sweigart, Sr., of Fleetwood, and Robin Cairns of Coatesville; and his three cherished grandchildren, Travis Sweigart, Jr., Frankie Cairns, Jr., and Brina, who brought him endless joy and always kept a smile on his face. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Dunn of Hamburg; his nephews, Chick Cairns and Billy Hohl; his great-niece, Rachel Hohl; and his Aunt Jane, who was especially near and dear to his heart.
Robin will be remembered for his kind heart, creative spirit, and his ability to find beauty and purpose in the everyday. Those who knew and loved him will carry his memory forward in shared stories, quiet moments, and the simple joys he held so dear.
A private interment will be held at the convenience of the family at St. John’s Episcopal Church Cemetery in Compass, Pennsylvania.
