Howard G. Rapp, 83, formerly of Elverson, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Hemsley House of McCandless, Pa., following a battle with Parkinson’s
He was born on Monday, July 27, 1942, to Robert and Esther (Spotts) Rapp. He was the husband of the late Sharon G. (Wakenhut) Rapp, who died on June 2, 2008.
After graduating from Twin Valley High School, Howard went into the Army, stationed at Valley Forge where he met Sharon. Howard retired from the former Conestoga Telephone Company of Birdsboro and fully enjoyed his retirement. He was a member of the St. Vincent United Church of Christ. Howard was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan. He was a passionate golfer who also enjoyed being outdoors and enjoying nature walks and loved spending time with his grandsons.
Howard was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Rapp.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at 10 AM St. Vincent United Church of Christ, 127 Ridge Road, Phoenixville, Pa. with Pastor Karen Hanson officiating.
