Lynn Lee Boyd, 80 years of Oxford, formerly of Peach Botom, died on Friday, May 29, 2026, at the Ware Presbyterian Village, following an illness.
She was born on Thursday, January 31, 1946. Lynn was the daughter of the late Emily (Woodward) Dickens and Walter Elwood Dickens, Jr. She was the wife of the late Arthur F. Boyd, Sr.
Lynn was active in the TOPS weight lost program and attended the True Gospel Baptist Church of Quarryville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her mother and father, her two sisters Jean Dale and Gwen Dickens, and a brother Rodney Dickens.
Survived by her twin sister, Lois Howard (Sid), five stepchildren; Karen Wilkinson, Christine Walker, Darlene Selk, William Boyd and Arthur (Skip) Boyd III, sister-in-law Patricia Boyd, 11 step-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11 AM at the Union Hill Cemetery in Kennett Square, with Pastor Jim Roland officiating.
