Dorothy D. (Deihm) Sagner, age 93 of Honey Brook, died on Friday, August 7, 2026, at the Meadows Healthcare Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community.
She was born on Thursday, March 9, 1933, in Lancaster. Dorothy was the daughter of the late Frank G. and Mable (Foltz) Deihm. She was the wife of the late J. Raymond “Seg” Sagner, who died on February 17, 2020.
Dorothy was a homemaker to her beloved family. She was a graduate of the J. P. McCaskey High School, Class of 1951. Dorothy was a member of the Honey Brook United Methodist Church, Honey Brook American Legion Wawassan Post Ladies Auxiliary, and a charter member of the Honey Brook Women’s Club. She also worked as a clerk at the Honey Brook Gift Shop. Dorothy enjoyed bowling, volunteering and following Raymond as he participated with the Foxchase Fox Hunt Club.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert F. Deihm.
Surviving is her daughter, Lugene and her husband Theodore Woyton of Millsboro, DE, and a son, Keith and his wife Eve Sagner of New Holland. There are two grandchildren, Brett and Lauren Czarnecki, a step grandson, Zane Hughes, five great grandchildren, Nicayla, Jada, Alaya, V’anni and Grayson, and three step grandchildren, Audrey, Juliet, and Mila.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, at 11 AM from the Chapel of the Tel Hai Retirement Community, 3100 Tel Hai Circle, Honey Brook, Pa., with Chaplain Dave Klingensmith officiating. Interment will follow at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM at the chapel.
