Florence M. Huffman, 86 years, of Denver, formerly of Honey Brook, died on Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Coventry Manor Nursing Home, following an illness.
She was born on June 11, 1928 in Brecknock Twp., Berks Co., Pa. Florence was the daughter of the late Daniel M. and Florence (Price) Kemp. She was the wife of E. Glenn Huffman, with whom she shared 39 years of marriage.
She was an LPN, who conducted private duty nursing. Florence enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Walter and William Hohl and two sisters and a brother.
Florence is survived, in addition to her husband, by 3 sons, John Hohl of Salt Springs, FL, David Hohl of Morgantown, and Sam Hohl of Denver, Pa., and a daughter, Linda Christman of Surfside Beach, SC. There are 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 2 PM from the St. James Lutheran Church Cemetery in Geigertown. There will be no calling hour or service at the funeral home.
