Our prayers are with the family. Kathryn was a wonderful support to us as we started both married life and our first years in ministry at the California church. She was like a second "Mom" to us. We are sorry to hear of her passing. But are rejoicing that she is with the Lord.

Kathryn's family is in my thoughts and prayers. I have so many memories of Kathryn from throughout the years, and she has shown up in a cameo role in several of my books. Whenever I write a scene with someone playing the piano in a church, it's Kathryn Styer in my mind. She was a special lady.

Katherine, or 'Nana Katherine' as she was known to many, was a true example to all of us that studied under her. She represented how a Christian should live, and touched the lives of so many children across several generations. We are blessed to have known her. Our favorite memory of Katherine is when she was recognized for 50 years of service as a SS teacher. All of her past and current students were called up front to join her. If you were there, you shared in a very special and deserving tribute, and know that there were not many people left seated. Katherine will always have a special place in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
