Keith E. Baer, 38 yrs., of Elverson, died unexpectedly on May 16, 2016 at his home.
He was born on Nov. 5, 1977 in Peoria, IL. Keith was the son of Edward and Connie (Smith) Baer of Elverson. He was the husband of Catherine L. “Cati” (Antonini) Baer, with whom he shared 11 ½ years of marriage.
He was a carpenter for 17 years with a Philadelphia Carpenter’s Union Local. Keith was a baseball coach for his son’s little league baseball team. He was an avid Chicago sports fan and loved the Blackhawk’s Hockey team. Keith scored over 1,000 points as a Twin Valley HS basketball player.
He is survived in addition to his wife and parents, by a son; Aaron N. Baer, a daughter, Sydney R. Baer, a sister, Laura J. (Ed) Gonzalez, two nephews, Erik and Stephen Gonzalez, a father and mother in law, Stephen and Marilyn Antonini, a brother in law, Jeremy Antonini, and a sister in law, Ally Antonini.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Rev. Ben Wiegand officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 AM. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the memory of Keith and made payable to Catherine L. Baer for an education fund to benefit Aaron and Sydney Baer.
