Janet L. Spece Janet L. Spece, 74 yrs., of Narvon, died on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Berks Heim, following an illness. 

She was born on January 7, 1942 in Lancaster.  Janet was the daughter of the late John P.  & Mary Elizabeth (Eshleman) Mast. She was the wife of Jay Spece, with whom she shared 56 years of marriage. 

Janet was a secretary for John Ewell Trucking of Blue Ball.  She was a member of the California Evangelical Congregational Church and the Churchtown Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.  Janet enjoyed the beach and time with her beloved family and friends.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three daughters, Jody Lynne (Mike) Ink of Narvon, Judy Marie (Mahlon) Lapp of Peach Bottom, Justine Elizabeth (Tracey) Jones of Mohnton and a sister, Judy M. Kostecky of Tamaqua.   There are 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 2 PM from California E. C. Church, 350 California Road, Morgantown, Pa.  19543, with Pastor Chris Mann officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.   Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Janet to California Evangelical Congregational Church at the above address.
