
Joseph Beiler, 91 years, of Honey Brook passed away on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at the Meadows Healthcare Center at the Tel Hai Retirement Community, following an illness.
Joseph was born on July 22, 1926 in Caernarvon Twp., Berks Co. Pa. He was the son of the late John K. and Katie K. (Stoltzfus) Beiler. Joseph was the husband of D. Jane (Romig) Beiler, with whom he shared 66 years of marriage.
He retired in 1991, after 22 years as a superintendent for DeVault Contracting Company. Joseph was a graduate of Honey Brook High School, Class of 1944. He was a US Army veteran of WW II. Joseph was a member of the Twin Valley Bible Chapel, Honey Brook Fire Company and served for 18 years on the Twin Valley School Board.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Edward Beiler and two sisters, Miriam Yoder and Kathryn Wenger.
Joseph is survived by two sons, Jeffrey (Bonnie) Beiler of Reading and Joseph (Linda) Beiler of Honey Brook, and a brother, Raymond Beiler of Honey Brook. There are five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, 2017 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Bill Muller officiating. Interment will follow at the Honey Brook Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends starting at 9:30 AM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Joseph to the Twin Valley Bible Chapel, 105 Shirktown Road, Narvon, Pa. 17555.
