Doris M. Davies, 82 years, of East Earl, died Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Hospice and Community Care in Mt. Joy, while under the loving care of her family and hospice.

She was born in East Brunswick, Pa. on May 23, 1939.  Doris was the daughter of the late Harry and Idella (Sterner) Teter.  She was the wife of the late Robert H. “Bob” Davies, who died on August 10, 2008.

Doris was a homemaker to her beloved family.  She worked as a cashier at Shady Maple. Doris was a member of Ebenezer Bible Chapel and attended Twin Valley Bible Chapel.  She enjoyed spending time with her family.

Doris was preceded in death by her sons, James Davies and Brian Davies.     

She is survived by her three sons, Steven (Kimberly) Davies, Scott (Pamela) Davies, and Eric (Cherise) Davies, two daughters, Lynn (Richard) Edwards and Jennifer (Derick) Holsinger, a daughter in law, Margaret Davies a brother, Dale Teter and two sisters, Faye and Janet Walker.  There are 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and a great-great grandson. 

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11 AM from Ebenezer Bible Chapel, 289 Warwick Furnace Road, Elverson, Pa.  19520 with Pastor William Muller & Pastor David Hiester officiating. Interment will follow at the Ebenezer Bible Chapel Cemetery.  A calling hour will be held at the chapel staring at 9:30 AM.

Steve,Lynn.Scott,Jennifer and Eric and your families- Its never easy when your mother leaves this earth ,but she is the one who gave us what we needed to get us started on our journey so with that -your MOM was a quiet soft spoken woman who gave herself to the Lord and HE called her home.The Lord gave us memories and those we can treasure and hold onto.May the Lord Bless you and your famlies during this time .
